I’m running a business with two phone lines for many years now and phones have always been a problem for me. I found that all degraded or cordless phones stop working after a couple of years, so I went through some various brands and models that I can repport here for you. My comment on the VTech is the last paragraph.

Starting in 1999 I had a second. Gigaset Siemes 4 Ghz and that was the best phone I had, it was stylish, very well organized and function. Unfortunately, wireless networking and computer blew up shortly after the group have a lot of frequencies that wireless telephone is not in the second. 4 GHz work even longer. Features include phone book copy among different sets of hands.

I had two different sets of Panasonic 5. 8 GHz phones, and all were really bad. Voice quality was terrible and something stopped working in a short time. One is tempted to buy Panasonic because they have the largest selection of models. But do not be fooled by that! I may not buy Nokia because they withdrew from the market two-line analog phone, only things they offer VoIP, but I’m not ready for this yet.

I have a Sony Ericsson 5. 8 GHz for a few days and let me tell you, it was the worst phone I’ve ever had, it was much worse than all the Panasonics. It would not be not enough space on Amazon to write server all the details :-)

Then I had a 5. 8 GHz AT & T phone and I really liked the voice quality and workmanship. But all had put up different numbers of their phone book because you can not transfer the phone book between them, I just can not continue with this. Also, functionality was not very intuitive.

VTech Finally I got his phone, and I must say that I am impressed. I wanted to have a DECT 6. 0 phone, because I believe that this is the best band of frequencies for cordless phones. This phone looks great, has excellent sound quality, has an intuitive setup menu, and it has a very competative price. And what I like most that has no other phone ever: You program a number in your phone book and is available in all places instantaneouly hand. Only thing, they should have the memory for more than 50 numbers. I have this phone and sets up to 4 December 2009, and the only thing that I hope it will be reliable. Once I have an issue I will update this review, so if you do not see an update, which is more points for this phone.

Everything is great about this phone except that it does not have a headset jack. I use it for business during this is a must for me and I turned mine. It’s my fault for not checking the specs on the whole, but I thought I would save others from the same mistake by posting this review. So if you need a headset jack not buy this phone. I gave it three stars because I believe that a second phone line of this caliber must have a headset jack. Also, cameras do not support belt clips. So if you are used to walk around with the phone in your belt while you talk to look elsewhere. My previous phone VTech lasted six years and both these features. It is a shame really they have left these two little things off. I guess if I want DECT headsets and I will have to go Panasonic. Happy dialing.

Just got this phone and 3 extensions. Voice quality is excellent. Answering system is good as well. Quite easy to operate. Handsets are comfortable to hold.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it has a jack for a headset. Because I use headsets often have carpal tunnel. Have not used it outdoors to see what kind of reception did not.

After throwing away three separate devices that gradually stopped working, it seems that the series of free can do the trick. Started with a base station and handsets Sony Ericsson, Panasonic and only then a last set was AT & T. All of them died and were never really good in the first place. It has good range, clear sound, easy to press buttons, speakerphone works great for sharing, all handsets phonebook and base station. If you need a phone line without suffering both the truck as I get it.

We bought this system with five other handsets.
This is the most versitile phone we’ve ever used. Sound quality, ease of use programability are just some of many characteristics we value.
We had never heard of the brand name, but were put at ease when they discovered that they are the manufacturer for ATT. Unfortunately, there was confusion with the process of purchase order and required several frustrating conversations with people in the Philippines who spoke poor English.
